Fruit Salad
From: Kevin Goebel
Serves about 6 people.

Ingredients:
1 package of Cool Whip - 8 or 10 ounces
1 can - 14 ounces - sweetened condensed milk
1 can crushed pineapple
1/3 cup lemon juice
1-1/2 - 2 cups seedless grapes (green and/or purple)
3-4 ounces flaked, sweetened, coconut
2 apples
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Procedure:
Thaw the Cool Whip if it is frozen. Rinse off the fresh fruit, core and dice the apples. Mix the Cool Whip and sweetened condensed milk. Add the coconut, pecans, lemon juice and pineapple, then the fresh fruit.

Notes: I've tried pears in addition to the apples and grapes, I've also added fresh tangerine slices or tossed in a can of Mandarin orange slices. I imagine a lot of different fruits could be used, whatever you have in the fridge or try your favorites. The important thing is the base of the Cool Whip and sweetened condensed milk, and the lemon juice. Lime juice might work just as well. When adding substitutes, try to add the more delicate ingredients last.
